Kill the Bill (Platinum Mimosa x Bad Apple - Sugar Mill cut) 

Keep Seeds Legal! Limited Series 

Kill the Bill is a cross between two of our go-to frost powerhouses: the Platinum Mimosa and the Bad Apple (Sugar Mill cut). This project was developed as part of a larger Bad Apple breeding project conducted by the Dirty Bird Genetics team in the fall of 2025. To date, we are still testing out the 6 strains we created as a part of this breed, but those we’ve finished testing have been truly spectacular. While the highly-anticipated Kill the Bill strain is one we haven’t tested, it is coming out of the seed vault early for this special occasion to raise money for NASC’s Keep Seeds Legal! Limited Series.

 

While you can make some educated guesses, you never really know what qualities individual cuts are going to bring to the table genetically until you’ve seen their combining potential up against several other strains. Thankfully, we’ve seen what our Bad Apple (Sugar Mill cut) pollen donor can do. This cohort of crosses have been some of the most epic we’ve ever bred, producing the most gorgeous, trichome-laden, apple-dominant flowers imaginable. The Bad Apple reliably carries forward its funky, apple terpene profile like a true champ, and grows an above-average number of bud sites that develop into flowers shaped like ripened strawberries. One of the traits that the Bad Apple is best known for is its heavy trichome production. This strain is probably the single most resinous strain in our catalogue.

 

Take that and cross it with the Platinum Mimosa and we are truly eager to see the result. The Platinum Mimosa is also a very high quality, boutique strain, producing flowers with a very high calyx-to-leaf ratio and loads of frost.
