Discord is a platform that is made to bring together communities of people who share the same interests and passions, and for cannabis enthusiasts it is no different.

NASC has officially had a Discord server available to the public for one year as of today, and I have had the pleasure of both creating and running it. For anyone who isn’t familiar with Discord, it is a free social platform available on both mobile and desktop. You can join community servers and engage in different chat rooms with other members of the community you are a part of. While the platform's main focus from launch was to bring together gamers, it has grown to have all forms of hobbies represented through servers users have made. Cannabis Discord servers have been around for the past few years and I was more than excited to have the opportunity to dive into this new branch of NASC when Beth first approached me about it.

Since being made available August 1st 2024, the NASC Discord has officially crossed 2,400 members, and is the most exciting part of my job. There is an incredibly active community of kind and passionate people who are always excited to share both their grows and knowledge with each other, and be able to chat about more than cannabis and explore other common interests.

In addition to the community aspects, If you ever need more information on anything happening on the NASC website, a promotion, drop etc, I am always happy to help and answer any questions you may have. So never hesitate to ask because I will never leave someone hanging for too long.

Thank you to all of our members in this community for our first year, it has been a pleasure getting to know all of you and I am looking forward to another year with everyone!
