CHEMDOG #4 (CHEMDAWG X GREEN CRACK) This strain of Chemdog #4, from the Chemdog family, produces a large plant with medium to large internodal spacing. It's characterized by being mostly indica, unlike its sisters who have a sativa tendency. Its genetics come from a Chemdog x Green Crack cross, which gives it a robust and forceful character. Its size, which is usually compact, is ideal for indoor and outdoor growth. Greenhouse growers will be able to greatly enjoy these genetics. This strain can be difficult to grow, however flowers ranging from 20% – 22% THC will reward the gardener’s hard work. The flowering period of Chemdog #4 is short, typically between 55-60 days indoors. However, outdoor growers can harvest between mid to late September. This plant withstands cultivation techniques such as apical pruning, stretching with LST or double cropping. We must emphasize that it is necessary to allow for proper ventilation indoors or in greenhouses to lower humidity levels. Also, outdoor growers must be careful with humidity to prevent mold from damaging the crop because the flowers are tight like rocks and are covered with sticky and abundant resin. Yields outdoors range from 600 – 700 gr/ plant, while indoors, they range from 650g – 750 g/m2. Make sure to take into account that the plant reaches heights of 2m – 3m outdoors and 1m – 2m indoors. The flavors are very special in this strain because it has a citric sweetness with hints of sandalwood and pine. This mix of flavors makes Chemdog #4 highly spicy. This spectacular strain gives off an aroma of soft Diesel tones and touches of pine and lemon citrus.
