And so we hunted, searched and scoured high and low for a skunk that actually smells like skunk. Little did we know, the answer was right in front of us. Our first hunt of Party Girl (Gran Champagne x Girl Crush) revealed one particular phenotype that had massive skunk tarps. We then hunted it again in 2024, specifically looking for the most skunky pheno in a big field. We found a few gems but one stood above all the rest. “Project Skunk” is the marriage between the 2023 winner and the 2024 winner. It turns out, this cultivar is also very hardy with a strong resistance to septoria.
